Welcome to Tindeuchen Lodge

The Order of the Arrow (OA) is Scouting's National Honor Society, recognizing Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. Through brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service, Tindeuchen Lodge members work together to support Scouting and strengthen our camps and programs.

Whether you are a newly elected candidate or a current Arrowman, there are many opportunities to serve, build friendships, and continue your Scouting Journey.

Membership Dues

To remain in good standing with Tindeuchen Lodge, members must:

• Be currently registered as a Scout or Scouter

• Complete required Safeguarding Youth Training (for members 18 and older)

• Maintain current annual lodge dues

Annual dues can be paid online, at the Iott Scout Shop, or at any Tindeuchen Lodge event.

Your $20 annual dues help support both the Order of the Arrow National Lodge and Tindeuchen Lodge programs, which include:

• Ordeal weekends

• Service projects

• Fellowship events

• Lodge Banquet

• Website and communications

• Lodge activities and resources

OA Ordeal

After being elected or nominated, candidates may participate in a Call-Out Ceremony recognizing their selection to the Order of the Arrow. Call-Out ceremonies are typically held during summer camp at Pioneer Scout Reservation.

A Call-Out ceremony is not required to attend an Ordeal. Your election is the first step in your OA Journey.

The next step is completing your Ordeal, an induction experience where you will learn more about the traditions of the Order of the Arrow and discover the meaning of brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service.

After completing your Ordeal, you will become a member of Tindeuchen Lodge!

Brotherhood Honor:

After completing your Ordeal, members may continue their OA journey by earning the Brotherhood Honor.

Ordeal members are eligible to complete their Brotherhood conversion six months after their Ordeal. Contact a Lodge Officer or Lodge Adviser for more information.

OA Lodge Banquet
